VR Karting Race Experience for Sports Event
Project Overview
NXT Interactive Saudi Arabia proudly introduced the AR Assemble Game – Car Builder Edition, an immersive, interactive AR experience designed specifically for expos and exhibitions across the Kingdom. Hosted as part of a major innovation showcase, this browser-based WebAR activation allowed visitors to virtually assemble a car from its parts — all through their mobile devices, with no app download required.
Created with event audiences in mind, this solution offered a blend of education, entertainment, and engagement, all within an intuitive and gamified augmented reality interface. Users interacted directly with floating 3D car components in their real-world environment, offering an unforgettable blend of digital and physical interaction — ideal for experiential marketing and technology showcases.
User Experience Flow
Access via QR Code or Web Link
Users scan a branded QR code or tap a link on-site to launch the experience in their mobile browser.AR World Detection
The AR engine scans for a flat surface (table, floor) and places a set of disassembled car parts in the user’s environment.Assembly Gameplay Begins
Users drag and drop each part — wheels, doors, engine, mirrors, chassis, etc. — to its correct position.
Realistic snapping animations confirm successful placements.
Users rotate the scene or walk around for a full 360° view.
Hint & Info Features
Optional features include:“Ghost” outlines to guide users.
Info pop-ups explaining each part’s function, perfect for educational environments.
Final Reveal
Once the car is fully assembled, it animates to life with sound effects, light pulses, rotating wheels, and a celebratory visual.Share & Replay
Participants can take a photo with their completed car in AR, and optionally share it or replay the experience.
Immersive Racing Experience:
Realistic 3D karting track with environment dynamics like day/night cycles, cheering audiences, ambient sound, and motion cues.
Full hand controller support for steering, drifting, and triggering power-ups.
Visual elements like HUD display for lap time, speed, and leaderboard updates.
Game End & Score Display:
